I've been struggling with weight loss for a while now, and my doctor recently prescribed Phentermn/topiramate ER CP. It's a combination of phentermine and topiramate, designed to help with appetite and feeling full. I read about some severe side effects, so I'm pretty nervous. Has anyone here tried this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Did you notice significant weight loss? How did you manage any side effects? Any advice or tips would be much appreciated!

I've been on Phentermn/topiramate for about 6 months now. It definitely helped me control my appetite, but I experienced some side effects like dry mouth and constipation. I had to drink a lot of water and take stool softeners to manage them.

I lost 30 pounds on this stuff! The side effects were minor for me, just some occasional headache and dizziness. But be careful; I know someone who had to stop because of tingling in their hands and feet.

I’ve seen a lot of people complain about kidney stones. Make sure you’re drinking enough water and taking calcium. I think it’s a worthwhile trade-off for the weight loss if you’re careful.

I've had some side effects, like muscle cramps. I hydrated a lot and took some potassium supplements, which helped a bit. Definitely a mix of helpful and annoying.

This medicine is a life saver! I was able to lose 50 pounds in 6 months. Yes, there were side effects, but it was worth it. I feel so much better about myself now!

I feel like the weight loss benefits are really overstated. If you don’t change your lifestyle, this drug is just a temporary bandaid. I didn’t feel like it was worth the risk of side effects.

I've been on Phentermn/topiramate for a few weeks and I'm already noticing that I'm less hungry. You have to find the right balance with food and exercise though, if you just take the pills and eat anything you want you’re not really going to lose weight.
