I was recently prescribed Potassium Cl Micro 10meq ER Tabs to treat low potassium levels. I've been experiencing some muscle weakness and fatigue, and my doctor thinks this might help. I've taken these for years. When I first started, I got a bit worried about the black tarry stools. I thought it was something serious, but my doc told me it's a common side effect. Stick with it, it's normal.

I've been on these for a while now and they've been a game-changer for me. No serious side effects, just a bit of stomach upset at first.
I noticed the wax in my stool but I knew it was normal and it didn't bother me. It's just a bit of a shock the first time you see it.
