I was recently prescribed Rasuvo 7.5mg Inj, 0.15ml for severe rheumatoid arthritis. I've heard mixed things about it so I am interested to hear from others who have tried it. How effective have you found it to be? What side effects did you experience and how did you manage them? Was it worth the tradeoffs? What should I anticipate as far as side effects go? I've had a really hard time with Methotrexate. The side effects were just too much for me. But everyone is different, so fingers crossed that it works well for you!
Be prepared for some side effects. I've had to deal with dizziness and fatigue, but my doctor advised me to take the medication in the evening to minimize these issues. Surprisingly, I haven't experienced any serious side effects. The good news is that the drug has made a huge difference in my joint pain and inflammation. It's definitely worth trying, but be sure to stay in close contact with your doctor.
I wish I had known about the possible liver issues. I had to stop taking it because of elevated liver enzymes. Just a heads-up to get regular blood tests!
