I've been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and my doctor prescribed Rasuvo, a weekly methotrexate injection. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone here tried this medication? What was your experience like? Were the side effects manageable? I'd love to hear both the good and the bad to know what to expect.

Seriously, the auto-injector is a lifesaver. No more needle phobia for me! Just make sure you're doing it right to avoid bruises or any issues from bad technique. It took me about a month to get it right

I switched to Rasuvo from a different methotrexate formulation and it's been much easier to use with the auto-injector. No more cows in the stomach.

I've had some nerve issues but it was manageable. I’ve found that taking it on an empty stomach helps to reduce stomach pain and nausea. Also, staying hydrated and avoiding alcohol has made a huge difference.

I had a really bad experience with Methotrexate. I developed severe stomach pain and ended up in the ER. Turns out I had pancreatitis. I'd be really cautious if I were you. Listen to your body and keep a close eye on those symptoms. In the end, it turned out not to be worth it for me, but everyone is different. Just wanted to share my experience.

Been on it for a year. It's not fun, man. I got all the side effects ever. Maybe I'm just unlucky. Don't think it's worth it for me.
