With hemorrhoids being a common and uncomfortable issue, many people are turning to topical treatments like Rectasmoothe 5% Cream for relief. This cream is designed to numb the area and alleviate pain, itching, and discomfort. However, like any medication, it comes with potential side effects that range from mild to severe. I've been using it for a few weeks and wanted to share my experience and gather thoughts from others who have tried it. What's been your experience with Rectasmoothe 5% Cream? Have you encountered any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? Additionally, I'd love to hear from anyone with medical expertise on how this cream works and any tips for safe usage.

I had some pretty bad numbness and tingling, so I stopped using it. Maybe it was just my body reacting that way, but it wasn't worth the risk for me.

Rectasmoothe is a life saver for me. I always keep this cream on my medicine shelf. It works as a numbing cream in the anal area and helps in suppressing the pain, itching, and discomfort. It is important to apply this cream after a bowel movement. It should be applied to the affected area of hemorrhoids and anal irritations. The cream will calm down the inflammation and pain. It should be left on the affected area for 10-15 minutes. Then it should be washed off with water. I also recommend applying it at night after a bowel movement before bed. This will give the cream the best chance to reduce the irritation and inflammation during the night. It will allow for a restful sleep and relief from the irritation and pain.

Severe side effects are rare, but they can happen. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, hives, itching, or swelling, seek medical help immediately. Same goes for signs of acidosis or methemoglobinemia. These can be life-threatening. This is not an exhaustive list of possible side effects. If you have questions or concerns, consult your doctor. You can also report side effects to the FDA at 1-800-332-1088 or online at https://www.fda.gov/medwatch.

I am worried about the severe symptoms mentioned. I had a bad reaction to a different cream once, and I don't want to go through that again. Has anyone had any bad reactions to Rectasmoothe or the ingredients in it? Let me know what to watch out for. I am avoiding this cream.

Seriously you guys, try Rectasmoothe 5% Cream 30gm. I switched from the suppositories to the cream and my hemorrhoids finally went away after months of pain. This stuff is a game-changer. I hope everyone who has hemorrhoids and other anal irritations will try this.

I've been using Rectasmoothe for a while now and haven't experienced any major issues. Just a bit of irritation at the site of application, but it goes away quickly. Definitely worth it for the relief it provides.
