Has anyone tried Replesta 50,000 IU (d3,chole) Wafer? What's your experience?
I was recently prescribed Replesta 50,000 IU (d3,chole) Wafer for severe vitamin D deficiency. I don't get why everyone is so scared of this. It's just a wafer with a high dose of Vitamin D. It's like any other supplement.
I got the wafer stuck under my tongue. It didn't dissolve like it was supposed to. It was horrible.
Always check with your doctor before starting any new supplement. My doctor had me get my calcium levels checked before starting. It's all about knowing your body!
I've heard horror stories about the allergic reactions. Just be careful and keep an eye out for any signs of a reaction. Better safe than sorry!

I took it for a couple of weeks and didn't notice any major improvements. Maybe it just takes time, but I switched to a different supplement after consulting my doctor.
I tried it for a week and had to stop because of severe headaches. I think my body just doesn't react well to high doses of vitamin D. Definitely consult with your doctor if you experience any side effects, even mild ones.
