Has anyone tried Retin-A 0.025% Cream for acne and wrinkles? (45gm)
I've been prescribed Retin-A 0.025% Cream (Tretinoin) for acne and fine wrinkles. I've heard it can be harsh on the skin at first, but I'm hoping the long-term benefits will be worth it. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the burning and stinging. Has anyone else used this product? How did you manage the initial side effects? Any tips for using it effectively? I'm curious about the frequency of application and if it's better to use it every day versus every other day. I'm also wondering if I should use it on my whole face or just on specific problem areas. Any insights or experiences are appreciated!

Stay consistent and patient. It took me a month to see real improvements, but I had to tough it out through a lot of redness and dryness at first. Start by applying it 3 times a week, then gradually increase to every night if your skin can handle it.
I started Retin-A three weeks ago. My skin is a mess, totally dry and peeling. Should I stop or stick with it?
I tried using it but every time I applied it I would feel a ton of heat on my face and would have to take a shower or something. Not sure if that's normal but it wasn't for me.
I've had some good results but I noticed my skin reacts badly to certain moisturizers. I used to get a burning sensation when I applied moisturizer in the morning. I would recommend testing out a bunch of moisturizers to see which ones work best for your skin. It took me a while to find one that works.
Don’t expect overnight results. It took me a good 3 months to see any major changes. I got through the initial irritation phase by only applying a pea-sized amount and gradually increasing the frequency. Find a good moisturizer and use sunscreen religiously. It takes time but I'm glad I stuck with it.
I can’t believe how much clearer my skin has become. I still get a breakout here and there, but it’s so much better than before. I also started using sunscreen every day which helped a lot.
Gos been using it for 6 months and seeing great results. My skin is way smoother, and I no longer have clogged pores. It’s worth the initial breakout period, for sure.
