Has anyone tried Retin-A 0.05% Cream for acne? Share your experiences and tips!
I've been struggling with acne for years and my dermatologist just prescribed Retin-A 0.05% Cream. I've heard mixed things about it, so I wanted to know if anyone else has tried it and what their experiences were like. How long did it take to see results? What kind of side effects did you experience? Any tips for using it effectively? Looking forward to hearing from you all!

I've been using Retin-A for a year now and it's been amazing for my acne and fine lines. I apply it every other night and use a gentle moisturizer afterwards. It's important to give your skin time to adjust to it. Don't expect overnight results, but it's worth the wait. It's also helped with dark spots from old acne, so it's a plus!
If you’re using it, make sure to use a good moisturizer and sunscreen. My skin got really dry and irritated at first, but after a few weeks, it started to improve. I’ve seen a significant reduction in acne and fine lines, and my skin looks much healthier overall.
I used to use this stuff and it made my skin look like I’d gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.
I used Retin-A for about 6 months and it was a game-changer. It did make my skin really dry and irritated at first but the redness went away after a few weeks. I saw significant improvement in my acne, but it took about 3 months to see real results. Use a good moisturizer and sunscreen, and don't overdo it with the application.
Be careful with this stuff. I started using it and my skin was on fire. LITERALLY.
