I've been struggling with acne for years and recently tried Retin-A Micro 0.08% Gel Pump as recommended by my dermatologist. It's amazing how effective it is at clearing up my skin by promoting new cell growth and reducing inflammation. However, I've noticed some side effects such as dryness and redness. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues and if there are any tips for managing them. I've heard that using a gentle moisturizer can help, but I'm open to other suggestions. Also, how long did it take for you to see results? I'm curious about everyone's experience and any advice you might have for first-time users.

I've had some severe reactions including peeling and blistering, I'm not sure if I should continue.

I've been on it for six months and have seen significant improvement. I wish I had started sooner. Just be patient, it does take time, but it’s worth it.

I used it consistently for about two months and then stopped. My skin was so flushed and irritated that I had to quit cold turkey. I didn't see any progress and I'm not sure if it was the right choice for me.

I just started using it and it's super intense! I’ve noticed some burning and redness. Is this normal?

It’s normal to experience some initial irritation. I found that using it every other night rather than every night helped with the sting. Additionally, if you’re sensitive, try applying a thin layer of moisturizer as a buffer. It made a huge difference for me. Stick with it, it gets better!
