I've been prescribed Rimantadine 100mg Tablets to treat influenza A. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions and seizures. Has anyone here taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both positive and negative. How did you find the effectiveness of the drug? Did you experience any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? Also, what should I do if I experience any of the urgent side effects? Should I seek medical attention immediately, or is there a different course of action? I'm trying to stay proactive about my health, so any advice or personal stories would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I took Rimantadine last year and it worked wonders. No side effects for me, but I was lucky. Just make sure you take it as prescribed and keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms.

I took this for a few days and felt like it helped, but the taste was awful. Is that common? Any tips for getting it down?

Be careful with this one. I had a mild rash and itching, but I kept taking it and it got worse. Had to stop and see a doctor. Not fun.

I work in a pharmacy and we get a lot of questions about Rimantadine. It's generally well-tolerated, but always better to be safe. If you experience any of the urgent side effects, get to a hospital ASAP. Better safe than sorry.

Just finished my course and honestly, it wasn't too bad. A little nausea, but nothing I couldn't handle. Definitely better than the flu!

I had a friend who took this and ended up with a pretty bad rash. Scary stuff. Just be mindful and pay attention to your body.

I've been on it for a week now and I feel like it's helping. No side effects yet, and I'm hopeful it'll keep the flu at bay. Thanks to my doctor for the quick care.

If you're experiencing trouble breathing, just go to the ER. Don’t wait if things are getting serious. Good luck!

I had seizures a few years ago and I'm so glad I didn't have to go through that again. Maybe consider another antiviral if you can; there are others out there.
