I've been struggling with acne and rosacea for a while now, and my dermatologist recommended Sod Sul/sulf 10-5% Cleanser. I'm a bit hesitant to try it because of the potential side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone here used this cleanser? What were your experiences? Did you notice any significant improvements in your skin condition? Also, how did you handle the smell, which seems to be a common complaint. I'd love to hear your thoughts and advice!

I switched to a different sulfur product that doesn't have sulfacetamide. It has helped some but not as much as the Sod Sul. I also switched to a different moisturizer, which has helped with the dryness. I would try a different option first and then go back to the Sod Sul if it's not working well.

I used it for a couple of weeks and noticed a significant reduction in my acne. It's a bit harsh, so I didn't use it every day. It is a good idea to use a moisturizer afterwards to counteract some of the dryness. As for the smell, I just deal with it knowing that it will fade. Also, I went to the pharmacy and asked for the prescription-strength cleanser and it's much more effective than the over-the-counter versions. I would say it was worth the effort if you stick to it.

Is it safe to use this during pregnancy? I’m pregnant and struggling with skin issues but don't want to risk my baby.

Interesting, Im concerned about the side effects. Has anyone experienced any severe reactions? I don't want to deal with something worse than acne.

I've been using it for a while and it's been great for my skin. My dermatologist recommended this product. I've had minor irritation, but nothing too bad. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully. I would also consider looking into other options you may have. Good luck!
