Has anyone tried Sorilux 0.005% Foam for psoriasis? How was your initial reaction?
I've been struggling with psoriasis for a while now and my doctor recently prescribed Sorilux 0.005% Foam. I've heard mixed reviews about it, but I'm hoping it will help with the redness and scaling. I'm just a bit worried about the side effects, especially the signs of high calcium levels. Has anyone else tried this medication? What was your experience like? Were the side effects manageable, or did you have any severe reactions? I'd love to hear from anyone who has used this and can share their insights. Thanks!

I've been using Sorilux for about two months and the redness and scaling are nowhere near as bad as they were. My doctor also recommended applying a thin layer at night and rinsing it off in the morning. It works best that way, in my experience.
I had some peeling and burning, but it went away after a few days. Stick it out for a bit if you can handle the initial discomfort. It gets better.
Be careful with the application instructions! I made the mistake of using too much at first, which led to some irritation. Stick to the recommended amount and it should be fine.
I switched to Sorilux after trying a bunch of other treatments. The foam is way easier to apply than some of the other creams I've used. Plus, it smells a lot better. Just make sure to shake the can really well before use.
