I've been struggling with athlete's foot for a while now, and my doctor prescribed Sulconazole 1% Cream. I've seen it mentioned online for dealing with tinea versicolor and other fungal infections, so I'm hopeful. Has anyone else used this cream? How effective was it for you? Were there any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I'm particularly concerned about the rare but severe side effects mentioned in the leaflet. Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Be careful with this stuff. I had a severe allergic reaction the first time I used it. Rash, hives, the works. Had to go to the ER. I was shaking in fear. Now I use something different.

I've heard some horror stories about allergic reactions to this cream. Make sure you do a patch test before using it all over the affected area. Apply a small amount to a hidden spot and wait 24 hours to see if you have any reaction. Easy to do and worth the peace of mind.

Does it make a difference to your immune system? I was considering using this as soon as doctors prescribed it to me. The side effects listed are pretty scary, but I don’t know what to expect.

I used it and had no problems at all. It worked fine. I just had some itching, but nothing to complain about. I was really happy with it. It worked quickly and I didn’t get any of the bad side effects.
