I've been fighting with severe acne and rosacea for years, and my dermatologist recommended Sumaxin CP Kit. I haven't seen a lot of reviews or detailed information online. Anyone have experience with this topical medication? How effective is it for treating acne? did it have serious side effects, and how did you handle them? I'm curious about any tips for incorporating this into a skincare routine, or if it's better just to use it? Thanks!

Just started. I hate how it smells but my dermatologist says it's worth it. Will I see results fast?

I got a rash from this and I am getting it checked out.

I used it and saw no results. The side effects were mild but I still quit using it. Hopefully it works for you!

Always wear sunscreen with this. Sunburn and easy sunburn is a side effect you don't want.

I've been on it for 2 months. I started with a full face application and the dryness and irritation was unbearable. Now I am using it only on problem spots and it is working much better. I think I am going to stick with it.

I've been using Sumaxin CP Kit for a month now, and I've seen a significant improvement in my rosacea. My skin is less red and irritated. However, I did experience some dryness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

I tried it and had terrible skin irritation. It was so bad I had to stop using it. I think my skin is a bit too sensitive for Sumaxin.

Be sure to patch test first. My face turned bright red and I almost had to run to the ER.

I tried using moisturizer before applying it, but it was too greasy. I found it works better when my face is slightly damp. Having a thicker moisturizer at night helped too.

The sulfur and sulfacetamide combo seems promising. The sulfur helps with skin shedding and oil reduction, which is awesome for acne-prone skin, but I am concerned about how sulphacetamide will interact with my current skincare. I might need to make some adjustments but it looks promising.
