Has anyone tried the new Ferralet 90 Tabs formula? Thoughts?
I've been prescribed Ferralet 90 Tabs (new Formula) to help with my anemia during pregnancy. The supplement includes iron, folic acid, vitamins B12 and C, and a stool softener called docusate. I've heard mixed reviews about the new formula, especially concerning side effects like constipation and stomach pain. Has anyone else tried it? What were your experiences like? I'd love to hear both positive and negative feedback before I start taking it. Thanks!

I had really bad diarrhea when I took Ferralet 90. My doctor switched me to a different iron supplement and I felt so much better. Might be worth discussing with your doctor.
I've been on it for a month and I'm not a fan. The constipation is still awful and I've had some pretty bad stomach cramps. I'm thinking of switching to a different supplement.
My doctor recommended Ferralet 90 because of the stool softener. I think it's a good idea to take it with food, like the other commenter mentioned. I haven't had any problems so far.
I've taken many different iron supplements in the past and this one seems to work fine. I haven't had any constipation or stomach issues. My stool color did change to green and I was kind of freaked out at first. It's all good now, though.
I started taking Ferralet 90 a few weeks ago and I've had no issues so far. The stool softener really helps with the constipation side effect. Just make sure to take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
I took Ferralet 90 and it worked great for my anemia. No side effects at all. I'm not pregnant, but I had some other issues. I'm pretty sure it's a great supplement for pregnancy too.
I was really worried about the side effects, but I haven't had any issues. Just make sure to drink plenty of water and take it with food. Fingers crossed for you! You got this!
I took Ferro-Gradumet and it made me feel awful. Ferralet 90 did not work for me. I switched back to Ferrous Sulfate and I feel great.
