I have been trying to quit smoking for a while now, and I have heard a lot about Nicotine Polacr 4mg Orig Gum 50's. It is a type of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) that helps reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms by providing a small, controlled amount of nicotine. You chew the gum slowly until you feel a tingle and then 'park' it between your cheek and gum to allow the nicotine to be absorbed. I'm curious to know if anyone has tried it and had success with it. I'm also interested in hearing about any side effects and how they dealt with them. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

I actually quit without any help, to be honest. Wasn't as hard as I thought. But I know everyone is different.

You can't quit with gum. You can cut down, but it is hard to stop cold turkey. Might as well use patch and the gum for craves.

This gum isn't cheap, so I'm considering switching to the patch because it seems like a bit cheaper. Anyone tried it and then switched to the patch?

I had a bit of trouble with the dripping. I wasn't sure if I was doing it right and ended up taking too much at once. It made me feel kind of sick. Once I figured out the chewing technique, it got better. I also experienced some joint pain but it's getting better now.

Worked for me. I used it for three months and now I’m totally off it. I had a bit of dizziness at first, but it went away after the first week. The nicotine gum is lifesaver for me. Just make sure you're chewing it properly to avoid too much nicotine at once.

If you're considering switching to the patch, I'd recommend doing a little research. I found that the patch works well for constant cravings, but the gum is better for when you have an intense craving. I used both together for a while and it worked pretty well.

I've been using it for a month now and it's been a game-changer. The instructions are a bit tricky at first, but you get the hang of it. Make sure to chew it slowly, otherwise, you can feel sick. I have had some irritation on my gums where I park the gum, but nothing too serious. I also find I'm sleeping poorly, but I think that's from the quitting process, not just the gum. The best advice I can give is to stick with it, even if the cravings are still there, using it consistently has helped me a lot.
