I've been recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and my doctor prescribed me Tirosint-Sol 88mcg/ml Oral Sol. I'm a bit nervous about starting this medication, especially after reading about the potential side effects. Has anyone here had any experience with this specific formulation of levothyroxine? I'd love to hear about your journey, both good and bad. How long did it take for you to feel the effects? Did you experience any of the side effects mentioned? Any tips on managing them would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm curious to know if anyone has had issues with hair loss and if so, how long did it take for your hair to grow back? Thanks in advance for sharing your stories and advice!

I don't get why they don't make this stuff taste better. It's like liquid chalk!

I've been on Tirosint-Sol for about six months now, and it's been a game-changer. It took a few weeks to start feeling better, but now my energy levels are back to normal, and my metabolism feels balanced. I did experience some hair loss initially, but it started to grow back after a couple of months. Stick with it, and don't hesitate to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns. It's worth it in the long run!

I'm new to this sub, but I'm glad I found it. I was just prescribed Tirosint-Sol and I had no idea what to expect. Thanks everyone for your insights!

I had no idea there were so many side effects! I'm glad I'm on a different medication, but I feel for those of you dealing with this. Keep your doctors in the loop, and hopefully, they can help manage the side effects.

I've been on levothyroxine for years, but only recently switched to Tirosint-Sol. The difference in absorption is noticeable! I feel so much better, and my thyroid levels are finally stable. But yeah, the hair loss was a bummer, but it grew back after a few months. Just be patient.

I've been on Tirosint-Sol for a while now, and while it's been great for my thyroid levels, I've noticed some muscle weakness. I'm not sure if it's related, but it's something to keep an eye on. Has anyone else experienced this?

My biggest issue was the sensitivity to heat. I was sweating like crazy all the time! But after a month or two, it started to subside. Just be prepared for some serious sweating sessions.

I'm trying to find a liquid form of levo because sometimes I have trouble swallowing pills. I wish they had better flavors! It’s hard to get used to the taste, but it’s worth it for the relief.
