I've been struggling with extremely dry and rough skin, especially on my hands and feet. My dermatologist recommended Urea 10% Hydrating Cream 85gm, saying it can help my skin retain moisture and gently exfoliate dead skin cells. I'm curious to know if anyone else has used this cream and what their results were. Did it live up to its promises? Were there any side effects? How often did you apply it? Any tips on how to get the best results? I'm also interested in hearing if anyone has tried any alternative products or treatments that worked just as well, or even better. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

I've used urea cream before, and it worked wonders for my eczema. Just be careful with the amount you use; start with a thin layer and see how your skin reacts. If you experience any burning or stinging, rinse it off immediately and consult your doctor. It's also important to patch test before applying it all over, especially if you have sensitive skin.

I've been using Urea 10% Hydrating Cream for about a month now, and I have seen a significant improvement in my skin. I apply it twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed. It's helped with the dryness and made my skin feel softer. The only downside is that it can be a bit greasy, so I have to be careful not to overapply it. But overall, it's been a great product for me.

I’ve never heard of this. How to use? Is it just topically as needed or does it need to be used daily?

Just started using it. First impression is that it's quite greasy and has a strong smell. I’m hoping the results will be worth it. Has anyone else noticed these initial drawbacks?

I tried this cream and it was a bit too harsh for my skin. I got some irritation and redness. I think it depends on your skin sensitivity.

I have super sensitive skin, so I can't use everything. But this product was ok. I use it on my feet, and it works fine. Just takes a bit to really work.

I'm allergic to urea... contact dermatitis gets me every time :(

I've found that using urea cream in combination with a good moisturizer works best for me. I apply the urea cream first to help with the dryness, and then I follow up with a moisturizer to lock in the hydration. It's a bit of an extra step, but it's worth it for the results. I use a natural product like shea butter as a moisturizer, so the cream doesn't sting.
