Has Anyone Tried Vyzulta 0.024% for Glaucoma? I'm Seeing Some Scary Side Effects
I've been prescribed Vyzulta 0.024% Ophthalmic Solution for glaucoma and I'm a bit concerned about the side effects. Has anyone else used this eye drop? I've read about possible eye color changes and allergic reactions, which are pretty scary. I've also seen mentions of eyelash changes, which seem odd but maybe not as serious. I'm wondering if the benefits outweigh the risks or if there are other options I should consider? I'm most concerned about the rare but serious side effects, like allergic reactions and changes in eyesight. Has anyone experienced these or know someone who has? I had a rash on my eyelid skin after a couple of weeks. It went away after I stopped using it. I am concerned about my dark spots, so I've switched to another drug and am waiting to see what my doctor says.
My doc warned me about the changes in eye color after I started using Vyzulta. I didn't think much of it at first but it's been a couple of months and it's pretty obvious now. I'm still deciding what I want to do about it.
If you're really concerned, talk to your doctor about other options. Maybe there's a different medication that could work better for you. I've heard that some people have pretty bad allergic reactions to this stuff.
I noticed some changes in my eyelashes too, but they went back to normal after I stopped using Vyzulta. It was kinda cool while it lasted, though! The changes aren't permanent, I guess.
I've heard some horror stories about eye color changes. My neighbor's cousin had to stop using Vyzulta because her eye turned brown! I don't know if that's true, but it sounds scary.
I've been using Vyzulta for a few months now and I haven't experienced any serious side effects. I did notice my eyelashes getting a bit darker and thicker, but it's not a big deal to me. It's worth it to keep my eye pressure down.
I'm on my second bottle and I'm seeing some brown spots in my eye sometimes. Is that the eye color change people are talking about? Is brown spots what that looks like?
