I was recently prescribed Xcopri 25mg Tablets for my focal-onset seizures, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. How effective has it been in managing your seizures? I'm glad this medication exists, but the side effect list is scary. I always have my first-aid kit ready just in case.
I had some constipation and nausea, but nothing too bad. The important thing is to keep track of how you're feeling and report any changes to your doctor.
I was worried about the side effects too, but after talking to my neurologist, I felt more at ease. Just make sure you communicate openly with your doctor and report any issues immediately.
I think xenovamate does have potential, but it's definitely not for everyone. I had a bad reaction and had to switch back to my old medication.
I switched to Xcopri from another medication and the transition was smooth. No major side effects for me, just a bit of fatigue initially. But the reduction in seizures was worth it.
Xcopri has been a game-changer for me. My seizures have significantly reduced, but I did experience some dizziness at first. It went away after a few weeks, though. Just be patient with the adjustment period.
