I was recently prescribed Zenpep 3000 IU Capsules to help with digestion issues. I have a condition that affects my pancreas, and my doctor said these enzymes should help me absorb nutrients better and reduce symptoms like bloating and gas. I'm a bit nervous about trying a new medication, especially since it has some serious potential side effects. Has anyone else used this? What was your experience like? Did you notice any significant improvements? Any side effects you can share? I'd love to hear from anyone who has firsthand experience with Zenpep 3000 IU Capsules.

I've never heard of Zenpep before, but this thread has me curious. I hope it works for you! If it turns out not to be the right fit, you might want to ask your doctor about Panzym or other enzyme medications. They can be a bit different in potency and effectiveness.

I've heard mixed things about Zenpep. Someone I know had issues with high blood sugar levels after they started taking it. Not sure if it was the medication or something else, but it's something to keep an eye on.

I've been on Zenpep for a few years now and it's been a lifesaver. Initially I had some issues with constipation, but taking a fiber supplement along with it helped a lot. Overall, it's been a game-changer for me. No more embarrassing moments at social gatherings! I also stopped taking it for a while to try and wean off, which was a mistake and I really did not recommend that to anyone.

I hope you find some relief with Zenpep! I have a friend who had trouble with gas and bloating but hasn't had any issues since starting.

My mom was prescribed to take this medication a few years ago. After a week of taking it, the symptoms and pain were pretty much gone. She used to have constant severe stomach pain and bloating, but she stopped taking it and the symptoms came back. I've got a feeling its because of her doctor. Calling it the Zenpep Miracle.

Have any of you tried the enzyme pills that are over-the-counter instead of prescription? Did they work for you and are you willing to share how long it took for you to feel better? Differently?

I wish I had this when I was diagnosed. It would have made life much easier. I remember not wanting to leave the house because of the discomfort. I always take mine with a full glass of water. Otherwise, it might get stuck in my throat.

I've been on Zenpep for about 6 months now. It took a bit of time to dial in the right dosage, but it's made a big difference for me. No more constant bloating or greasy stools. The trick is to take it with every meal and snack. I did experience some anal irritation at first, but it went away after a couple of weeks. Definitely worth sticking with if you're struggling with digestion.
