Has anyone tried Zilxi 1.5% Topical Foam for rosacea? How effective is it? Side effects?
I've been struggling with rosacea for a while now, and my dermatologist prescribed Zilxi 1.5% Topical Foam. It's supposed to reduce redness and bumps, but I'm a bit hesitant to try it because of the possible side effects. Has anyone else used this? How effective was it for you? I'm particularly concerned about the potential for severe skin reactions and other urgent side effects. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

This is so much better than the oral antibiotics I was on before. No more stomach issues or gastrointestinal problems. But the foam does sting a little when I first put it on.
The foam texture is really nice and light. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy residue. Plus, it's easy to apply and doesn't smell bad like some other topical treatments.
I read about the urgent side effects too, and it was scary, but so far, so good. I've had no issues with it.
I had a severe allergic reaction to a different topical antibiotic once, so I'm really nervous about trying Zilxi. Has anyone had an allergic reaction to it?
I've heard minocycline can cause some serious side effects, so I'm going to keep a close eye on any changes in my kidney function and blood.
