I've been using Acne Medication 10% Gel for about a month to treat my acne, and while I'm seeing some improvement, my skin is incredibly dry and flaky. I'm not sure if this is normal or if I should be concerned. I've been applying it every other day, as suggested by my dermatologist. I've considered moisturizing more, but I'm worried it will make the acne worse. Can someone who's had success with this gel share their experience? Also, how do you handle the dryness and peeling? I've noticed the peeling is more intense in some areas where my acne is worst. I'm desperate to find a balance between treating my acne and keeping my skin from feeling like the Sahara. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Acne Medication 10% Gel is a good treatment in addition to other things to control acne and keep it from spreading. I've used it for a year, and I'm seeing fantastic results.

I had the same issue when I started using it. What helped me was using a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer twice a day. It took a few weeks, but my skin adjusted, and the dryness went away. Also, make sure you're not overusing it. Twice a week might be enough.

I had horrible burning when I first started using it. It took a few weeks, but my skin adjusted and now it works great for me. I had to push through the initial discomfort.

I'm on my second tube of this stuff. It's great for acne but terrible for my skin. Would not recommend if you have dry skin. I've found the gel works best for combination skin.

I got a rash on my face. I didn't go to the doctor, but the rash went away when I stopped using the gel.
