I've been dealing with eczema for years, and my dermatologist recently prescribed Alclometasone 0.05% Ointment. I've used it for a week now, and while it seems to be helping with the itchiness and redness, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both positive and negative. Specifically, I'm curious about any long-term side effects or tips for managing them. I know everyone's skin reacts differently, but I hope we can share some general advice and tips for making the most of this treatment.

I've had good results with it, but it did take a while to see any improvement. Stick with it, but if things get worse, definitely talk to your doctor.

I had a really bad reaction to this stuff. Got hives and my skin turned red hot. I would be cautious and watch for any signs of an allergic reaction.

At first, I thought this ointment was a miracle! But after a few weeks, I started getting these weird stretch marks on my elbows. Not sure if it's related, but it's concerning.

I've been using Alclometasone for about a month now, and it's been a game-changer for my psoriasis. I haven't experienced any side effects so far, but I make sure to use it sparingly and only on the affected areas. Definitely worth a try if you're struggling with inflammation.

My doc warned me about the possibility of high blood sugar. I didn't have any issues, but I'm diabetic, so I kept a close eye on my blood sugar levels. Might be something to consider if you have diabetes.

You should tell your doctor about any side effects, even if they seem minor. Better safe than sorry! My skin got super dry after using it, and my doc recommended a moisturizer.

Be careful with this stuff. I know someone who ended up with Cushing's syndrome from overuse. Definitely not worth the risk. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns.

I've been lucky and haven't had any issues. Just make sure to apply a thin layer and not overuse it. I use it maybe 2-3 times a week.

I've used it a few times, but I always get a bit nervous about the long-term side effects. Have any of you noticed any changes in skin color or hair growth?

I was surprised by how well it worked! But I did notice some irritation at the application site. Just a heads up to everyone using it. Keep an eye out for that.
