Has anyone used Androgel 1.62% (40.5mg/2.5gm) packets for low testosterone? What's your experience been like?
I've been struggling with low energy, low sex drive, and muscle weakness, and my doctor recommended Androgel 1.62%. I'm a bit hesitant to start it given the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones like behavioral changes or blood clots. Anyone have any experience with this testosterone gel? Was it worth it? How did you handle any side effects?

I tried Androgel and it didn't work for me. Make sure you have a good doctor who can help you find the right treatment if that's the case.
I've been on Androgel for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for my energy levels and sex drive. No major side effects so far, just a bit of acne which is manageable.
Just started Androgel yesterday. Fingers crossed for no side effects. Will report back in a few weeks!
Be careful with this stuff. I tried it and had to stop because of mood swings and irritability. It was like living with a different person. Not worth it for me.
Side effects or not, the improvement in my quality of life has been huge. I feel like myself again, not just existing. Just make sure to communicate openly with your doctor—trust me on this.
Dr. said blood tests will need to be done every 3 months if I start Androgel. Anyone know if that's standard? Seems a bit frequent.
