Has anyone used Anucort-HC 25mg Rectal Suppositories? What's your experience been like? Specifically, I'm curious about the side effects.
I was prescribed Anucort-HC 25mg Rectal Suppositories for hemorrhoids and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. This might be a silly question, but how soon after using it do the side effects usually show up? I'm worried about going out of town and not being able to get to a doctor.
I used it for a few weeks and it definitely helped with the swelling and discomfort. I didn't experience any of the serious side effects listed, just some mild tingling. Maybe it varies from person to person?
I used this for a similar issue and it worked like a charm. The side effects were minimal; just a bit of temporary dryness.
I used this and was fine but I remember the stinging was a bit intense at first. After a few hours, it got better though. Always good to have a moment to rest after applying.
Just be really careful with the dosage and how often you use it. Overuse can cause some serious issues. My doc stressed this a lot.
Anucort-HC was a lifesaver for my hemorrhoids, but I had a bit of bleeding which made me nervous. I called my doctor and they said it could be normal so just be cautious and keep an eye on it. No major issues for me!
I had to stop using it after a few days because the irritation was unbearable. Maybe it was just my body reacting badly, but I'd suggest keeping an open line of communication with your healthcare provider and considering alternatives if it's too much.
