I've been struggling with acne for a while now and my dermatologist recommended Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Wash. I've read that it can be quite effective in killing bacteria and unclogging pores, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone here used this wash? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. How did you apply it, and did you notice any improvements? Also, how did you handle any side effects? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I started using it and my skin got really dry. I stopped using it to see if it was the cause and my skin felt so much better, so I think I'll switch to a different treatment.

I've found that using a moisturizer after applying the wash helps a lot with the dryness. Just make sure to choose one that's non-comedogenic to avoid clogging your pores.

I've been using it for a month and it's been a game-changer. Just make sure to apply a thin layer and rinse it off after 10 minutes.

I've always had good results with benzoyl peroxide. It can be harsh, but with the right skincare routine, it works wonders. I use it every other day and it's helped clear up my acne significantly. Just be patient and give your skin time to adjust. My dermatologist said it can take a few weeks to see results.

Trying it right now. I had to stop using it for a while because it burned too much.

Fun fact: benzoyl peroxide is actually a bleaching agent, so watch out for your towels and pillowcases! Be sure to rinse it off thoroughly.

I've used it in the past and it did help with my acne, but it can be pretty harsh on the skin. Definitely start slowly and build up your tolerance.

I switched to it after my doctor suggested and I noticed that my skin was drier than usual; but my acne did clear up so I just started using a good moisturizer too. My skin felt tight and uncomfortable the first week.

Give it a try, it should help a lot. Just don't use it too often - maybe every other day to start with. Be careful not to get it on sensitive areas like the eyes or mouth.

My skin turned red and itchy when I used it. I had to stop using it and switch to a gentler treatment.
