I recently started using Betamethasone Dip 0.05% Oint 45gm for my eczema, and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. How effective has it been for you? Have you experienced any side effects? I've read about some potential serious side effects, like signs of an allergic reaction or high blood sugar, but I'm hoping to hear from people who have used it safely. Also, how long did it take to see results? Any tips on application or combining it with other treatments would be greatly appreciated!

Be careful with this stuff. I had a friend who had some major side effects. The doctor said that it was because of the betamethasone dipropionate.

I’ve been using this for my psoriasis flares. You need to be careful with this stuff. I’ve noticed it can thin the skin over time. My doctor told me to only use it for a few weeks and stop if it's not getting better. What I did was apply it only to the affected areas and wash my hands thoroughly after application to avoid any unwanted exposure.

I used it once and my skin got really dry. I don’t think I’ll be using it again.

Anyone tried combining it with other treatments? Like a moisturizer or something else? Just curious, I want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to manage my eczema.

This stuff can mess with your blood sugar. I’ve noticed my blood sugar levels fluctuating a bit. I feel like I should be more careful, but I need it. Any suggestions to control the blood sugar levels?

This stuff is a lifesaver for my psoriasis. It calmed down the inflammation and redness pretty quickly, but I did get some skin thinning after a few weeks. So make sure you ask your doctor how long to use it.

I had a bad reaction to this stuff. I had a rash and my skin was peeling. I went to the doctor and they told me to stop using it immediately. I switched to a different topical cream and have been fine since.
