I've recently been prescribed Betamethasone Dipropionate Augmented 0.05% Ointment for my eczema. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the urgent ones listed. I heard it can cause high blood sugar levels. Anyone else experience this?
I had a bad reaction to this stuff. My skin got super irritated and I had hives. I ended up in the ER. Definitely not worth it for me.
I think it's better than living with the constant itch and redness. It's a tradeoff, but for me, it was worth it.
Did anyone’s doctor give them a specific routine for applying? I’m not sure if I should put it on and wash it off or leave it overnight.
I’ve had some minor side effects like skin thinning, but it was worth it to get relief from my eczema flares. Just keep an eye out for any severe reactions and talk to your dermatologist if you notice anything unusual.
