I've been prescribed Calcipotriene 0.005% Cream for my psoriasis and I'm a bit nervous about starting it. I've heard it can be really effective, but I'm also concerned about the potential side effects. Has anyone here used this cream? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. How often did you apply it? Did you notice any improvements in your skin? Did you experience any side effects and how did you deal with them? I'm particularly worried about the more serious side effects, but I guess that's always a risk with any medication. I'm hoping to hear from people who have used it for a while. Thanks in advance!

I've been using it for a good two years now and i do not know how i would have managed without it. Without it, I'd be covered in redness and scales and itching all over, absolutely miserable. Other creams have not worked for me but this has been a gamechanger. Sure, it can sting for a bit, but the tradeoff is worth it.

Calcipotriene worked for me, but I switched to something else because it was so greasy. It's a small thing, but it made a big difference to my skincare routine. If I could get a drier formula, I'd be happier to stick with it.

I've heard the tingle is normal and nothing to worry about, so just hang in there.

I found that applying it right before bed and then covering the area with a light cloth helped reduce the burning and stinging. It also seemed to work better that way.

I'm on my second tube now and I haven't had any problems. Don't worry too much about the serious side effects. They're rare, and as long as you keep an eye on them, you'll be fine. Just make sure to apply a thin layer and wash your hands after.

I had some skin irritation when I first started using it, but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully. Moisturize a lot too.

I've been using it for about three months now. It took a bit of time to kick in, but I've seen a significant reduction in my psoriasis patches.
