I've recently been prescribed Cem-Urea to treat my rough and scaly skin. The doctor says it will help soften and loosen the hard, thickened skin, making it easier to remove and helping my skin hold onto moisture. I'm a bit hesitant about the potential side effects like burning, stinging, or even allergic reactions. Has anyone else used this and can share their experience? I'm curious about the overall effectiveness, how long it takes to see results, and if there are any tips for minimizing side effects.

I've used it on my elbows and knees, and it works okay. It's not a miracle worker, but it does help. I'd recommend using a good moisturizer afterwards to lock in the hydration. If you have dry skin, this might be a good product to try.

I'm really worried about the allergic reactions. Are these common, or just in a few cases? I have sensitive skin, so I'm hesitant to start using it.

I found that applying it right before bed and wearing socks over it overnight helped. By morning, my feet were much smoother, and I could easily remove the dead skin. Definitely worth the slight discomfort of the burning sensation. I also make sure to take a shower before applying. This is a great way to avoid the unpleasant smell.

I used Cem-Urea for my feet. It helped to smooth out the thick skin and calluses. I think it's really worth it, but make sure to patch test first and follow the instructions closely. Don't apply too much at first—start small to minimize side effects.

To minimize the irritation, I recommend mixing it with a bit of Vaseline or another moisturizer before applying. This has helped me avoid the burning sensation. For those worried about side effects, just keep an eye on your skin for any reactions and stop using it if you notice anything unusual.

I've been using Cem-Urea for a few weeks now, and it's been a game-changer. My skin feels so much smoother and more hydrated. The only downside is the initial burning sensation, but it goes away after a few minutes. Definitely worth it!
