I've been using Chor Gonadotropin (hCG) injections for fertility treatments, and I'm curious if anyone else out there has had any severe side effects. I've read about things like neurological symptoms, emotional changes, and even signs of blood clots, but I'm wondering how common these are and if anyone has had personal experiences to share. Also, any tips on managing side effects? Is there anything I can do to mitigate them? Thanks in advance for any insights!

I had a bad reaction to hCG with severe irritability and depression. It was tough, but my doctor switched me to a different medication, and I felt much better. It’s worth talking to your doctor if you experience anything like that.

I've been on hCG for a while and luckily haven't had any major side effects. Just some pain at the injection site and a bit of fatigue, but nothing too bad.

I think the most concerning side effects are the ones related to blood clots. Chest pain, coughing up blood, and difficulty breathing – these are all signs to watch out for. I’ve heard that some people have even experienced swelling, warmth, numbness, or pain in a leg or arm. If you experience any of these, get medical help ASAP.

I had a friend who developed gynecomastia (enlarged breasts) from hCG. It was a bit embarrassing for him, but he managed it with some lifestyle changes and eventually saw a doctor. Still makes me wonder how common these side effects are.

Does anyone know about allergic reactions to hCG? I'm allergic to a lot of things, and I'm worried about how my body will react. I know the signs are pretty obvious, but I just want to be prepared.

This thread is really helpful. I've been considering hCG for a while but was hesitant because of the potential side effects. It's good to know what to look out for and how to manage them. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences!

If you're worried about side effects, just remember that everyone's body reacts differently. What’s severe for one person might be manageable for another. Talk to your doctor and maybe consider keeping a symptom journal to track how you feel. Good luck!

Did you know hCG has some interesting effects on men too? My friend used it for testosterone production, and he said it worked wonders for his energy levels. He also mentioned some breast enlargement, which was a bit uncomfortable. I guess it goes to show that side effects vary a lot from person to person.
