Has anyone used Clobetasol Prop 0.05% Cream for eczema or psoriasis? What was your experience like with side effects?
I've been prescribed Clobetasol Prop 0.05% Cream 30gm for my severe eczema and psoriasis. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions and Cushing's syndrome. Has anyone else used this cream? What was your experience like? Did you encounter any of the side effects mentioned, and if so, how did you handle them? I'd love to hear some real-life stories and advice on how to manage this strong corticosteroid.

I wish I had known about the potential for high blood sugar and Cushing's syndrome. I'm glad I found that out from this post before I started using it.
I'm a dermatologist, and I can tell you that while Clobetasol is very effective, it's also very potent. Use it sparingly and only on the affected areas. If you experience any concerning side effects, stop using it immediately and contact your doctor.
I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's helped a lot with my eczema. Just make sure to moisturize regularly to combat the dryness.
This stuff is scary! I got stretch marks and thinning skin from using it too much. Be careful, folks!
