I'd rather deal with some itching than risk Cushing's syndrome. It's a powerful drug, so definitely be cautious.
I've used it for psoriasis and it worked wonders. Just make sure to use it exactly as prescribed and keep an eye out for any signs of infection or allergic reaction. I had some mild burning at first, but it went away after a few days.
I got this prescribed for my psoriasis and I've had no problems at all. It's worked great for me so far.
Why does everything that works have to be so scary? I've been lucky so far—no serious side effects. Just some mild redness but that went away.

I would be so worried about the high blood pressure side effects. Has anyone else experienced that?
