I've recently been prescribed Clobex 0.05% Shampoo to treat my moderate psoriasis. The doctor said it's a high-potency steroid shampoo that should help with the redness, itching, and scaling. Has anyone else used this? I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like allergic reactions or high blood sugar. How long does it take to see results? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, I'm curious to know if anyone has experienced any of the more common side effects like burning, dry skin, or hair loss. Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I just switched to a different topical treatment because I got pimples all over my face and it was super embarrassing. Maybe there's a better option for you?

I've been using it for a month now and I haven't experienced any of the scary side effects. Just a bit of dry skin, but it's tolerable. Keep an eye out for any changes and definitely talk to your doctor if something doesn't feel right.

I had some really bad side effects. Seemed to make me a lot more tired and slightly confused, but it also got rid of the psoriasis. It's a tough call.

This stuff is a lifesaver. I mean, it’s strong, but it works. Just be careful and don’t use it like crazy.

Anyone know if this can be used with other topical treatments? I'm already using a salicylic acid shampoo.

Be careful with this stuff. I got some weird stretch marks on my back and I’m pretty sure it was from the clobex. I know it’s weird tbh but the doctor said it could happen.

I hear this stuff takes a while to work. If you used something else, why'd you switch to this?

I got some weird eye pain last time I used a steroid shampoo. Do you think that might be possible with this one?

I used it for a while and it worked great, but then the psoriasis came back after I stopped. Seems like it's not a permanent solution, but it does help in the short term. What did your doctor say about long-term use?
