I've been prescribed Clocortolone Pivalate 0.1% Cream for my eczema and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this cream? What was your experience like? Did you encounter any of the side effects mentioned in the description, like irritations, high blood sugar, or skin changes? I'm particularly worried about the severe and potentially life-threatening side effects since I have a history of allergic reactions. Any advice or reassurance would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve used it for a few weeks now and it’s been a lifesaver for my eczema. No major side effects, just a bit of dry skin, but it was totally worth it to get the itching under control. I’m going to be taking a break from it soon. I have to admit I was worried about some of the serious side effects, but luckily, I haven't had any of them. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I’m thankful for this thread. I was prescribed this cream and I’ve been too scared to use it. This definitely helps me make a decision on what to do next.

I wish I could use this cream, but I have diabetes, and I definitely can't risk a side effect of high blood sugar. It's a lot to think about, but I'd rather be safe!

This cream is amazing! It cleared up my dermatitis in no time. But I definitely had some skin irritation at the site of application, like the description said.

Clocortolone Pivalate 0.1% cream worked miracles for my dermatitis. But I had to be super careful. I made sure to apply it exactly as the doctor said and make sure to wash my hands thoroughly after I was done so I wouldn't get skin irritation. Just to be sure, I kept a close eye on the skin where I applied it and watched for any strange changes.

I've heard that everybody reacts differently to different skin steroids. Some people can't take them at all, and some people can use them for years. I'd definitely give it a few weeks, but if you have any major issues, call your doctor or go to the ER.
