I've been struggling with athlete's foot for a while now, and my doctor recommended Critic-Aid Clear AF 2% Oint 142gm. It contains Miconazole, which is an antifungal medication. I've read that it can treat various fungal infections like jock itch, ringworm, and yeast infections of the skin by stopping the growth of the fungus. I'm curious about anyone's personal experience with this specific product, especially regarding its effectiveness. Also, what were the side effects if any? Did you experience the common ones like burning or stinging at the application site, or any of the severe ones like severe skin reactions or trouble breathing? Did it clear up the infection quickly, and how long did you use it for? Please share your thoughts and experiences! Thanks!

It's important to finish the full course of treatment even if the symptoms go away. I stopped using it too early and the infection came back. Make sure to use it for the full duration prescribed by your doctor.

I used this for jock itch and it worked wonders. Took about a week to clear up completely. No side effects for me, just made sure to apply it after showering and let it dry before putting on clothes.

I have used it before and it worked well for athlete's foot. Just make sure to keep the area clean and dry and change your socks daily.

Be careful with this stuff. I had a bad reaction and ended up with a rash all over my body. Had to stop using it and see a doctor.

Does anyone know if this is safe to use if you're pregnant? I've got a yeast infection and my doctor hasn't gotten back to me yet.

I've had no issues with this product. No side effects and it cleared up my athlete's foot in about 2 weeks. I did find it a bit pricey though.

I had a friend who used this and it worked for them, but they had to wear socks to bed because the ointment would get on the sheets and it would stain the sheets.

I had a severe reaction to this ointment. I woke up with hives all over my body and had to go to the ER. Turns out I was allergic to the active ingredient. Definitely not worth the risk for me.

This stuff smells awful, but it works. I used it for ringworm and it cleared up in about 10 days. Just make sure to wash your hands after applying it.
