Has anyone used Cutivate 0.05% Lotion for eczema? What were your experiences with side effects?
I've been prescribed Cutivate 0.05% Lotion for my eczema, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, especially if you've dealt with any of the more serious side effects mentioned in the warning. I'm particularly concerned about the signs of an allergic reaction and the risk of a weak adrenal gland. My doctor assured me that these are rare, but I can't help but worry. How do you manage the side effects and can you live with Cutivate? Thanks in advance!

I had a weird reaction—my skin started to swell up and I got these tiny little bumps. Turned out it was an allergic reaction. Scary stuff, but I’m glad I caught it early.
Be very careful with this stuff. I used it for a while and ended up with terrible thinning of the skin on my face. Doctors say it's going to take months to reverse, if it ever does.
I had a really bad reaction to Cutivate—ended up in the ER with severe chest tightness. Turns out I was having an allergic reaction. If you feel anything weird, don't wait it out. Get help immediately.
Cutivate worked wonders for my eczema, but I had to stop using it because of the skin thinning. My doctor switched me to a different topical steroid, and it's been fine so far.
I've been using Cutivate for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my eczema. I did experience some initial burning and stinging, but nothing too severe. No serious side effects here, but keep an eye out for any changes in your skin.
This stuff is a double-edged sword. It helps my eczema, but the side effects are no joke. I've had some weird skin changes and even a bit of hair growth in unexpected places. Definitely keep monitoring things closely.
I've been using it for a while and have experienced no side effects. I checked the list, but the only things I got were mild burning and stinging. I am really sensitive to this though, and would much rather use a natural remedy.
Just a heads-up, the burning and stinging can be pretty intense at first. Stick with it for a few days, and it should ease up. But if it gets worse, definitely talk to your doctor.
I'm on my second tube and so far so good! No major side effects, just a little stinging at first. But it really helps with the itching and redness. Fingers crossed it stays this way!
