I've recently been prescribed Diflorasone Diacetate 0.05% Cream for severe dermatitis. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like Cushing's syndrome. Has anyone else used this cream? How did it work for you, and did you experience any bad side effects? Also have any tips for application and how to minimize side effects?

I've been trying to manage my symptoms naturally but the doctor pretty much said that I need to get more aggressive about my treatment before my skin gets worse.

Thanks for any help and advice!

Diflorasone is strong, man. It knocked out my eczema but I had to stop cause my skin started to look weird, and not just a little weird.

I have been using it for a few months. No issues here. I just make sure to use a good moisturizer afterwards and it works fine.

I think the key is to use the least amount necessary to control symptoms. Don't just slather it on like some people do.

If you're really worried about side effects, talk to your doctor about alternatives. There are other topical steroids or even non-steroidal options.

I used it for a few weeks and it worked wonders on my psoriasis. No serious side effects, just a bit of dryness. Make sure to moisturize afterwards!

I had a weird reaction to it. My skin got really itchy and started to peel. Doctors switched me to something else. Just be careful and pay attention to your body.

I had to stop using it because it was messing with my blood sugar. I'm a diabetic so it was a no-go for me.

I used it on my face by accident and my face got all red and puffy. Scared the crap out of me. Do not use it on your face, folks.

I've been using it for a while now and haven't had any issues. Just follow the instructions and if anything seems off, call your doctor.
