I was recently prescribed Diflorasone Diacetate 0.05% Ointment 15g for my eczema. The doctor said it's a strong medicine that should help reduce the redness, swelling, and itching. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone else used this and had any issues? I'd love to hear your experiences or any tips you might have. Thanks!

I got hives after using this ointment. It was scary, but I called my doctor and they switched me to a different treatment. If you have any bad reactions, don't hesitate to get help.

Be careful, I experienced some skin irritation initially, but it subsided after a few days. Also, definitely avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes.

It's a strong steroid, so it's not surprising that it has some serious side effects. But for me, the relief from eczema flare-ups was worth it.

I had a severe reaction to this cream. If you start to feel short of breath or get a rash, seek medical help immediately. It's not worth the risk.

I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and it’s made a significant difference in my psoriasis. I haven't had any major side effects, just a bit of dryness, which I can handle. Make sure to apply it sparingly and only to affected areas.

Make sure to follow the instructions on the label. I applied it more often than prescribed and ended up with some thinning of the skin. Not fun.
