I’ve been prescribed Diprolene 0.05% Ointment for psoriasis and I’m a bit worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this medication? What was your experience like? The list of possible serious side effects is quite long and scary. However, my dermatologist assures me that it's very effective. Any insight would be appreciated!

Be careful with this stuff. I had some really bad burning and stinging when I first started using it. It got better after a few days, but it was pretty intense at first.

The burning and stinging were a bit annoying at first, but it calmed down after a week or so. Just make sure to apply it sparingly and avoid areas with broken skin.

I had a friend who used Diprolene and she developed some thinning of the skin on her arms. She had to stop using it because it was too severe. I'd definitely talk to your doctor about it if you notice any skin changes.

I think that burning or stinging is boring. I had an allergic reaction, itching, and redness. They were all gone by the time I finished the tube. I guess my body got used to it. You should be fine!

I used it for a while and it really helped with the redness and itching. Just make sure to use it exactly as prescribed and keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms.
