I've been dealing with rosacea for a while now, and my dermatologist recently prescribed Doxycycline Mono 40mg DR Capsules. I'm a bit nervous about starting a new medication, especially one with some pretty serious potential side effects. Has anyone else tried this for rosacea? How has it worked for you? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Also, any tips on managing the side effects would be greatly appreciated!

I just started it a week ago and I'm already seeing some improvement. I was nervous about the side effects, but so far, so good. I did notice a bit of stomach discomfort, but nothing too bad. Keep an eye on your skin -- it might get a bit dryer.

I've been on this for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for my rosacea. The redness and bumps have significantly reduced, but I did experience some stomach upset at first. My doctor told me to take it with food and it helped a lot. Just a heads up, be sure to avoid direct sunlight as you can get more sensitive to it while on this med.

I've been on this medication for about 6 months now. The redness on my face is completely gone and my skin is so clear. I did have some diarrhea at the beginning, but it went away after a few weeks. I even noticed a bump but I leaned it just checked out my doctor and everything was normal.

This is a common question. There are a lot of good resources online, but be sure to go to a reputable site. There is a lot of junk online. The FDA website is a good start: https://www.fda.gov/medwatch. Always consult your doctor if you have any questions or concerns.

I've been on it for a while and it's been okay. The worst part is the sun sensitivity. I have to wear sunscreen and a hat whenever I go outside. But it's worth it because my rosacea has improved a lot.
