I've been dealing with a persistent case of athlete's foot for a few weeks now. My doctor prescribed Econazole Nitrate 1% Cream and I'm hoping to hear from anyone who has used this before. How effective was it for you? Did you experience any side effects? Any tips on how to apply it for the best results would be appreciated. I'm really hoping this stuff works and I can finally get rid of this annoying infection. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I had a mild irritation at the site of application but nothing too bad. Just make sure you wash your hands after applying and don’t touch your face until you wash again. I’ve always been nervous about skin reactions but nothing bad happened to me.

Be careful with this stuff! I used it on my son for ringworm and he had a nasty allergic reaction. I had to rush him to the ER. I’d recommend seeing if you can get a different medication given recent reports of severe reactions.

I used this cream for athlete's foot last year and it worked like a charm. I noticed improvement within a week and was completely clear in about two weeks. Just make sure to keep the area clean and dry. Good luck!

Econazole Nitrate is great for athlete's foot but be careful if you have sensitive skin. I used it and had no issues, but a friend of mine had a bad reaction. Start with a small amount and see how your skin reacts.

I used this cream and it did the job. I picked up a prescription for it and all the pharmacy staff told me it was a great product and that they never had any problem. I just saw the pill and felt it to be small. But it was worth it.

I've used it for jock itch and it was super effective. Just make sure to apply it after showering and drying the area thoroughly. No side effects for me, but everyone is different!

This cream is a lifesaver. I’ve had athlete’s foot off and on for years and this is the only thing that has worked consistently. Just be patient and keep applying it as directed.
