I've been struggling with eczema in my ear canal for months now, and my doctor prescribed Flac 0.01% Otic Oil. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, good and bad. Did it work for you? What were the side effects like? Any tips for application? I want to make sure I'm using it correctly and safely.

Be careful with steroids in your ears. I had a friend who ended up with a bad infection because of improper use. Always follow the doctor's instructions.

I had a really bad reaction to this. Within a day, I had severe dizziness and muscle weakness. Had to stop using it immediately and see a doctor. Not worth the risk for me.

I've been through my share of ear issues and this is one of those things that has a list of effects that people have reported. I think it’s important to keep a close eye on any signs of an allergic reaction. If you notice anything strange, get to a doctor. Better safe than sorry.

I’ve had a pretty good experience with it. I’ve been using it for about a month now. I’d say the best tip I can give is to keep your ears clean before applying it and make sure to have some cotton balls ready in case you spill it. I try to do this in the bathroom so it doesn’t spill on my clothes or bedsheets.

Side effects? Really? I never noticed any. I loved this stuff. I just wish it came in a bigger bottle. I find myself needing to reorder it way too often.

Just started using it yesterday. I'm cautious because of the side effects listed, but it's a bit too early to tell. It's a bit tricky to apply without spilling it though.

I think the worst part about this medication is the application. It’s a bit messy and hard to control. But it does work really well. I just wish they made it a spray instead of an oil.

I have used this stuff before and the best thing I can tell you is that a little bit goes a long way, and the side effects are worth it if you have eczema in your ears.

I used this for my eczema and it worked wonders. Just make sure to apply it as directed and avoid getting it in your eyes. I had a bit of itching at first, but it went away after a few days.

I've used it a few times and found it helpful, but I always make sure to keep the bottle clean and sterile. One thing I noticed was it can sting a bit when you first apply it, but it calms down quickly.
