I've recently been prescribed Flurandrenolide (Cordran Sp 0.05% Cream 120gm) for my persistent eczema. The doctor said it should help with the redness, swelling, and itching, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the more severe ones. I've read about signs of an allergic reaction, high blood sugar, and even Cushing's syndrome. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'm particularly worried about the risk of severe side effects, and I'd love to hear about any alternative remedies or practical tips for managing side effects. I am extremely worried about the potential skin changes, as I am already self-conscious about my appearance. I am also curious to know if anyone has had success with other topical creams or treatments for similar skin conditions. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've used it for years with no problems. I think people need to chill out about the side effects unless they actually occur. I wouldn't worry about it unless you start having symptoms.

I think the risk of severe side effects is overblown. I've never had any issues with any topical steroids.

I had a really bad reaction to this stuff. I got hives and my throat felt tight. Scared the hell out of me. Went to the ER and they said it was an allergic reaction. Be careful, folks.

I used this cream for a few weeks and it worked wonders on my psoriasis. No severe side effects, just a bit of dryness.
