I've had a few episodes of pink eye, and Gatifloxacin always does the trick. I just wish the eye pain was a little less intense.
I wish I had known about the possible side effects before I started using this. I had no idea I could have a severe allergic reaction. I'm not sure it was worth it in the end, especially when I had to go to the hospital due to swelling around my eyes and throat.
Gatifloxacin was a game-changer for me! I had a terrible case of pink eye and within days of using these drops, I was feeling much better. The only issue I had was a slight change in taste, which went away after I stopped using the drops.
I've had a few episodes of pink eye and Gatifloxacin always does the trick. I just wish the eye pain was a little less intense. Sometimes I find popping a couple of Tylenol or Advil helps before starting another round of drops.
Gatifloxacin is great but I ask my doctor for ciprofloxacin nowadays. I couldn't believe that I managed to get a diagnosed conjunctivitis in my 40s, but there you go. I thought it was just allergies.
I got really lucky with Gatifloxacin. No side effects and it worked like a charm. I've also had a very bad case of flu this year, got the vaccine though. I’d never had a conjunctivitis in my life, hopefully not needing these eye drops again.
Stay away from this stuff! I had a bad case of pink eye and the Gatifloxacin didn't do anything at all. My doctor actually recommended a better one in the end.
