Has anyone used Hurricaine 20% Aerosol for canker sores? How effective was it?
I've been dealing with canker sores for a while now, and my dentist recommended trying Hurricaine 20% Aerosol. I'm a bit hesitant because I've heard about some serious side effects, like methemoglobinemia. Has anyone else used this, and if so, how effective was it? Did you experience any side effects? I'm particularly worried about the rare but serious ones mentioned in the description. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I've used it a few times and it worked wonders for my canker sores. No side effects at all, just be careful with the dosage.
I used it for a sore throat and it numbed everything perfectly. No issues here.

I've had methemoglobinemia from using a similar product. Definitely don't recommend.
Why would you take the risk of severe side effects for something as minor as a canker bore?
I had a bad reaction to it. Got a weird rash and my lips turned blue. Scared the hell out of me.
I think it's worth a try if you're really suffering. Just make sure to keep an eye out for any strange symptoms.
I've never heard of this but I'd rather just use a normal painkiller.
I only use this stuff as a last resort. It's a bit scary to think about the worst-case scenarios.
