Has anyone used Infuvite Pediatric Inj, 5ml recently? Curious what other people's experience has been like
My child has been prescribed Infuvite Pediatric Inj, 5ml. This IV medication provides essential vitamins for healthy growth and development, but I'm nervous about the potential side effects. I’ve heard good things about this medication overall. It’s just a relief to know that my child is getting the nutrients they need. I need to note that it can get a bit pricey though, and the cost of vitamins might seem a bit expensive.
I used it with my daughter when she was in the hospital. She had a few skin reactions (rash, no blisters, thankfully), but she also experienced stomach upset. I only noticed that the skin reactions seemed more severe in the first few days. I contacted her doctor and we managed it well. I was surprised that infrequent bouts of vomiting weren’t more common.
If anyone has tips on managing the side effects, I’d love to hear them. I’m also here for moral support for anyone going through this. I don’t recommend googling side effects, it’s a bit scary!
It's scary to think about potential life-threatening side effects. Always good to be vigilant though, right?

I think we all need to be careful with any medication. I’m just curious to know how the child sleeps after treatment. My friend's baby used to sleep more than normal after treatments
Make sure to call your doctor if you notice any unusual side effects. I watched a friend go through this with their child and they were able to manage it by being proactive. The first thing they noticed was that their child’s anxiety levels went up. We can never be too cautious
