Has anyone used Lidex 0.05% Gel for eczema or psoriasis? What was your experience like?
I've been prescribed Lidex 0.05% Gel for my eczema, and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. I've heard it can be really effective, but I'm also aware of the potential risks. Has anyone here used this medication? I'd love to know your experiences and any tips you might have. How did you deal with any side effects? Did it work well for your skin condition? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I wish my doc had warned me about the potential for Cushing's syndrome. Scary stuff.
I used Lidex for a while for my psoriasis. It worked wonders, but I did experience some burning and stinging at first. My doctor said that was normal. If you're worried about side effects, just keep an eye on it and talk to your doc if you think things are going badly.
I've had great results with it. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully to avoid any unwanted side effects. I can't stand itching when it gets worse, so I'm more than willing to use this stuff to get relief.
I had some dry skin and itching, but nothing too bad. Just moisturize regularly and you should be fine.
I had a really bad reaction to it. I got hives and my skin got really swollen. I had to go to the ER. I would not recommend it.
I think it's worth a try if your doctor recommends it. Just be aware of the side effects and monitor yourself closely.
