Has anyone used Mesnex and experienced any side effects?
I've recently started taking Mesnex injections along with chemotherapy. My doctor said it would help protect my bladder. I'm curious to know if anyone else has used this and experienced any side effects. I'm particularly worried about the more severe ones like allergic reactions or severe skin issues. How has your experience been?

I’ve been on Mesnex for a few months now and the only thing I’ve noticed is some mild stomach pain. It’s not too bad, but I’m definitely keeping an eye out for any of the more serious side effects. I’ve also been taking it with lots of water which helps a bit.
I had a reaction to it but didn't know what it was so I kept taking it. Don't be like me. Stop and tell your onco at the first sign of something weird.
Mesnex saved my bladder during my chemo. I had some minor irritation at the injection site, but no major issues. Just be sure to follow your doctor’s instructions and report any unexpected symptoms.
You're going to be okay! While scary, stay calm and talk to your doctor. No side effect can be better managed than one you're worried about
I’ve heard mixed things about Mesnex. Some people swear by it, others not so much. It’s worth talking to your doctor about your concerns and maybe even getting a second opinion. Safe travels!
I had to switch from Mesnex to something else because of severe allergic reactions. Definitely keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction and consult your doctor immediately if you experience any. Better safe than sorry!
